Coaching Staff

Coach – Igor Miljan 

Coach Igor began his water polo career at age of 13 when after 9 years of swimming. He is from Zagreb, Croatia where he played for Havk Mladost which is one of the best European Club specifically for youth Water Polo. He was a U18 captain leading the team as a key factor for the defense playing as a center-defender. After playing there for 8 years and won multiple national championships he moved to San Jose California to play for West Valley Community College where he was one of top scorer and competitor. Igor helped West Valley to win second place on Norcal Regionals and third place in the State Championship. After that season, he moved to San Jose State University where he played for the Spartans for two years leading his first season as most scored goals in regular season. 

He further developed his knowledge and experience coaching at Valley Splash Outlaws club and West Coast Aquatics club. He was also a JV and Varsity Head coach for 3 years at Cupertino high school. Currently he is Head Varsity Coach at Fremont High School.

Coach – Jack Falstead

Coach Jack Felsted was a 2015 California 2nd team All American and led Golden West High School to capture the Central Section Division I Championship. He was honored as the West Yosemite League’s most valuable player after scoring 91 goals in 21 games. His water polo career continued in junior college while playing two seasons at Cuesta Community College. As the 2019 Western State Conference Player of the Year, he anchored the Cuesta Men’s Water Polo’s offense that season and was a finalist for CCCAA State Player of the Year. He led the Cougars to a Western State Conference title, their 41st straight playoff berth and, within a goal of their first CCCAA State Finals appearance since 2007. He was the 24th Cuesta player to be named the Western State Conference Player of the Year over the past 41 seasons, while also being named to the 2019 CCCAA All State

First Team and earning All-America honors. He later joined the San Jose State Spartans in 2020 where he is currently finishing his academic career studying Kinesiology.
