Executive Director/Coach

After nine years of swimming, coach Igor began his water polo career at the age of 13 in his hometown Zagreb, Croatia. He played at the prestigious Havk Mladost Club, one of the best European clubs specifically for youth water polo. As a U18 captain and center defender, he led Mladost to multiple national championships.

In 2014 he moved to San Jose, California, to play for West Valley Community College as one of the top scorers assisting West Valley to win second place in Norcal Regionals and third place in the State Championship. He continued his water polo career at San Jose State University, where he played for the Spartans for two years, leading his first season as the top scorer. He further developed his knowledge and experience coaching at Valley Splash Outlaws and West Coast Aquatics clubs. He was also the Varsity and JV Head coach for three years at Cupertino high school. Currently, he is the Varsity and JV Head Coach at Fremont High School.
